Biography

Jayant Menon is a Senior Fellow at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore, a position he has held since February 2020. In this role, he continues his research on trade and investment issues within the region and co-edits the Journal of Southeast Asian Economies (JSEAE).

Prior to joining ISEAS, Menon had an extensive career at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which he joined in 1999. He served as Lead Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist, a director-level post.
