Jawoo Koo is a prominent figure in digital agriculture, crop modeling, and data science, with over 20 years of experience in simulating agriculture and natural resource management. He is a co-author of the DSSAT (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer) Cropping System Model, which he implemented on high-performance computers at IFPRI to enable grid-based crop modeling analysis for CGIAR researchers in regional and global studies.
