Biography

Jaspreet Singh is a Canadian novelist, chemist, and poet, born in 1969. He moved to Canada in 1990 after growing up in Punjab, India, and Indian-administered Kashmir. Singh is a former research scientist who earned a PhD in chemical engineering from McGill University.

Singh's literary contributions include novels such as *Chef* (2008/2010), *Helium* (2013), and *Face* (2022), as well as the short story collection *Seventeen Tomatoes: Tales from Kashmir* (2004).
