Jason Furman is an American economist currently serving as a Professor of Practice at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He also holds a position as a nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. At Harvard, he has taught Economics 10, the year-long introductory economics course, since 2019.
Furman's distinguished career includes significant service in the U.S. government.
