Jared Golden is a U.S. Representative for Maine's 2nd congressional district, a position he has held since 2019.

A Marine Corps veteran, he completed two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan between 2002 and 2006. Prior to his federal service, Golden served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2014 to 2018, where he rose to become Assistant House Majority Leader.
