Janet Currie is a Canadian-American economist who holds the position of Henry Putnam Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs. She is also the Co-Director of the Center for Health and Wellbeing at Princeton. In 2024, she served as the President of the American Economic Association, a testament to her standing in the field. She also co-directs the Program on Children and Families at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
