Holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Biography

Jane Nakano is a senior fellow in the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this role, she conducts research on a range of topics including U.S.

energy policy, energy geopolitics, and global market and policy developments concerning natural gas, hydrogen, nuclear energy, and critical minerals. Her expertise also covers energy security and climate issues specifically within the Asia-Pacific region.
