Jan Philipp Schmitz is an Executive President of Ardian, appointed in 2026 alongside Vladimir Colas and Mathias Burghardt. As a member of the General Management Team, he helps oversee Ardian's global growth ambitions. He also holds the positions of Head of Investor Relations and Deputy Co-Head of Secondaries and Primaries at Ardian, and oversees the firm's activities in Germany and Asia.

Prior to his tenure at Ardian, Schmitz worked in Transaction Advisory Services at Ey.
