Biography

James Root is a Senior Partner at Bain & Company, where he holds the position of Chairman of Bain Futures, based in Hong Kong. His prior leadership roles at Bain include serving as Managing Partner of Bain New York, leading the Asia Pacific Organisation Practice, and chairing the global Nominating Committee.

Beyond his consulting work, Root is an Adjunct Professor on the faculty of the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program, a role he has held since 2011.
