James Schneider is an English political organiser and writer, known for his work with left-wing movements and his contributions to political discourse. He currently serves as the Communications Director for Progressive International. Schneider co-founded Momentum, a significant left-wing grassroots movement, in October 2015.

In October 2016, Schneider was appointed as the Director of Strategic Communications for Jeremy Corbyn, who was then the leader of the Labour Party.
