James Liang is the Chairman of Trip.com Group and an Adjunct Professor at Peking University's National School of Development. He co-founded Ctrip, now Trip.

com Group, in 1999. He has served as the Executive Chairman of the Board since 2003 and held the CEO position from 2000 to 2006 and again from 2013 to 2016. Under his leadership, Trip.

com Group established a pioneering business model, navigated economic cycles, and became a global leader in one-stop travel services.
