Biography

James Bach is an American software tester, author, trainer, and consultant. He is recognized as the founder of the Rapid Software Testing Methodology and a proponent of exploratory testing and the context-driven school of software testing. Bach is also credited with developing session-based testing. Since 1999, he has worked as an independent consultant based in Eastsound, Washington.

Bach's career includes working as a software testing manager for Apple and Borland.
