Biography

James Averdieck is a British entrepreneur, born in November 1965. He is the founder of the dessert manufacturer Gü, which he established in 2003. In 2010, Averdieck sold Gü to Noble Foods for £32.5 million.

Following the sale of Gü, Averdieck acquired a majority stake in Bessant and Drury, a small dairy-free ice cream company, in 2014. He subsequently rebranded this venture as the Coconut Collaborative.
