Cole Imperi is a thanatologist, award-winning author, and researcher focused on utilizing non-clinical tools to support individuals experiencing loss and grief. She is the Founder of the School of American Thanatology, an institution that serves students in more than 30 countries, where she teaches and conducts research through the school’s ThanaLab. Imperi developed Shadowloss Theory and pioneered work in Thanabotany, aiming to bridge gaps in community-led bereavement support.
