Biography

Imani Rupert-Gordon is the President of NCLR – National Center for LGBTQ Rights, a role she assumed in March 2020. Born in Bedford Heights, Ohio, and raised in Yucca Valley, California, she earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She later pursued graduate studies at the University of Chicago, where she received a master's degree in social work in 2013.
