Ian Charles OBE is the Director of the Quadram Institute in Norwich, UK, an organization that integrates Quadram Institute Bioscience and the endoscopy centre of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Institute is closely affiliated with the University of East Anglia and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).
