Hugues Sana is a Research Associate Professor at KU Leuven, where his primary research focuses on understanding the life cycle of massive stars, from their birth in dense molecular clouds to their death as supernovae. His work also investigates how various physical mechanisms, including stellar interior, multiplicity, and outflows, impact the properties of populations of gravitational wave progenitors.
