Honghong Tinn serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she is affiliated with the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine (HSTM) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) departments. Her academic work is complemented by her authorship of "Island Tinkerers: Innovation and Transformation in the Making of Taiwan's Computing Industry," published by MIT Press in 2025.
