Biography

Holger Hoos is an Alexander von Humboldt Professor of artificial intelligence at RWTH Aachen University, where he also serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the AI Center. He is a German-Canadian computer scientist and the President of EurAI.

Hoos is a co-founder and Chair of the Board of CAIRNE, an organization formerly known as CLAIRE. His research and teaching focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence, combinatorial optimisation, and operations research.
