Biography

Herbert Holden Thorp is the Editor-in-Chief of the Science family of journals, a position he assumed on August 19, 2019. He is also a Professor of Chemistry and Medicine at George Washington University, joining in 2023. Prior to his current roles, Thorp held the Rita Levi-Montalcini Distinguished University Professorship of Chemistry in the Arts and Sciences and the School of Medicine at Washington University.
