He is the Founder and CEO of Agritecture, a company that has completed over 350 projects across five continents, assisting cities, developers, and governments in building effective food systems. Agritecture advises on controlled environment agriculture (CEA), urban agriculture, and climate-smart agriculture.

Gordon-Smith also founded Agritecture Designer, an AI-enabled farm planning platform.
