Henry Dargan McMaster is an American politician and attorney who has served as the 117th governor of South Carolina since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he was first elected to a full term in 2018 and reelected in 2022. As of January 29, 2025, McMaster became South Carolina's longest-serving governor and is the third-longest serving incumbent governor in the United States.
