Biography

Henry Roberts Kravis is an American businessman, investor, and philanthropist. He co-founded the private equity and investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) in 1976, where he currently serves as Co-Executive Chairman and Founding Partner. Prior to this, he was Co-Chief Executive Officer until 2021.

Kravis began his career in New York City's financial sector, joining Bear Stearns alongside his first cousin, George R. Roberts, and Jerome Kohlberg, Jr.
