Biography

Henna Virkkunen is a Finnish politician currently serving as the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security and Democracy, and European Commissioner for Digital and Frontier Technologies. She assumed these roles in December 2024 as part of the von der Leyen II Commission.
