Heather Boushey is an American economist known for her work on the relationship between inequality and economic growth. She served as a member of President Joe Biden's Council of Economic Advisers and as the Chief Economist for the Invest in America Cabinet at the White House. Prior to her government service, Boushey co-founded the Washington Center for Equitable Growth with John Podesta, a DC-based research organization dedicated to exploring economic growth and inequality.
