Hayato Kimura is a security researcher and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Osaka.

He currently serves as a researcher at NICT's Cybersecurity Research Institute, where his work focuses on identifying practical attacks and security weaknesses in deployed communication systems. His research covers applied cryptography, application security, offensive security for real-world cryptographic protocols, end-to-end encryption, and secure messaging systems.
