Biography

Hatice Gunes is a Full Professor of Affective Intelligence & Robotics at the University of Cambridge. She directs the AFAR Lab and serves as Associate Director of CHIA, focusing her work on human-centered AI, affective AI, and social robotics. Her research aims to develop AI systems that understand and respond to human emotions and social cues.
