Harvey Rouse is the EU Ambassador to Hong Kong & Macao, a position he commenced on September 1, 2024. Prior to this appointment, he led International Relations in DG MOVE (Mobility & Transport) within the European Commission. His career spans over 35 years in both public and private sectors, with extensive involvement in diplomacy, trade and transport advocacy, negotiations, development cooperation, and relationship building.
