Haruyuki Yamashita serves as the Deputy General Manager and Head of Policy Engagement at the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s New York Office. In this role, he focuses on connecting U.S. investors with Japan’s evolving equity market and provides insights on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's initiatives.

Previously, Yamashita was with the Accounting Standards Board of Japan, where he contributed to discussions on IFRS and U.S. GAAP, with a particular focus on goodwill accounting and disclosure.
