Biography

David Ha is the Co-Founder of Sakana AI, an AI company established in Tokyo, Japan, where he has been since 2023. Prior to founding Sakana AI, he spent six years as a Research Scientist at Google from 2016 to 2022.

Before his tenure at Google, Ha worked at Goldman Sachs for eight years, serving as a Managing Director from 2008 to 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering Science and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Multidisciplinary Sciences.
