Hans Rosling (1948–2017) was a Swedish physician, academic, and public speaker, widely recognized for his work in international health and economic development. He served as a professor of international health at Karolinska Institute. Rosling co-founded and chaired the Gapminder Foundation, an organization dedicated to making global statistics understandable through data visualization.
