Biography

Hanin Ghaddar serves as the Friedmann Senior Fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where her work focuses on Shiite politics in the Levant. Her research and analysis cover Lebanese and regional politics, with a particular emphasis on Hezbollah, the Shia community, Syria, and Iran.

Prior to her current role, Ghaddar was the Managing Editor of NOW - English (mmedia.me), where she authored commentaries and analyses on political developments.
