During his first year as CEO, Tractor Supply Company experienced a 27 percent revenue growth, attributed to increased gardening, pet, and livestock ownership during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Tractor Supply reached #294 on the Fortune 500 list, and Lawton's contract was extended to 2026 in February 2023.
