Guillaume Verdon is a Canadian mathematical physicist, quantum computing researcher, and entrepreneur. He is the Founder & CEO of Extropic AI, a company he co-founded in 2022 with Trevor Mccourt. Extropic AI focuses on building a thermodynamic hardware platform for accelerating AI research, specifically developing chips intended for running large language models (LLMs).

The company recently announced the completion of a $14.1 million seed round.
