Guy Harley Oseary, born in Jerusalem in 1972, began his career in the music industry at a young age. In 1989, at 17, he started Wise Guy Prods as an independent A&R representative. By 1992, at 19, he joined Madonna's Maverick Records as one of its first employees, serving as an A&R executive. He advanced to chairman, building a roster that included The Prodigy, Alanis Morissette, Muse, and Deftones.
