Guntram Wolff is a professor of economics at the Solvay Brussels School of Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he holds the Euroclear Chair in sustainable finance. He is also a Senior Fellow at Bruegel and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. From 2022 to 2024, he served as the Director, CEO, and board member of the German Council on Foreign Relations. Prior to this, he directed Bruegel from 2013 to 2022, a period during which it was recognized as a leading think tank outside the US.
