Biography

Guido Tabellini is an Italian economist known for his academic leadership and contributions to economic research. He served as the Rector, or president, of Bocconi University in Milan from November 2008 until July 2012. Tabellini is also a past president of the European Economic Association and has provided consulting services to the World Bank and the Italian government.

Tabellini earned his Laurea in 1980 from the University of Turin and his Ph.D.
