Gregory Laurence Moriarty is an Australian public servant and diplomat. He currently serves as the Ambassador of Australia to the United States, a role he has held since 2026. Prior to this, he was the Secretary of the Department of Defence from 2017 to 2026 and served as the Chief of Staff to prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.
