Nicholas Gregory Mankiw is the Robert M. Beren Professor of Economics at Harvard University, where he was promoted to full professor with tenure at the age of 29 in 1987. He is widely recognized in academia for his contributions to New Keynesian economics. Mankiw is also the author of several best-selling economics textbooks and, according to the Open Syllabus Project, is the most frequently cited author on college syllabi for economics courses.
