Graydon Carter is a Canadian journalist, recognized for his extensive career in magazine publishing. He is notably known as the editor of Vanity Fair from 1992 until 2017. Carter co-founded the satirical monthly magazine Spy in 1986 and later co-launched the weekly newsletter Air Mail in 2019. He has been awarded the Order of Canada (CM).
Carter began his publishing career in Canada, co-founding The Canadian Review (TCR), a general interest monthly magazine, in 1973.
