Biography

Gisa Lematua Fuatai Purcell is the CEO of the Office of the Regulator for the Government of Samoa, a position she has held since November 2020. She was reappointed as Regulator of Samoa by Cabinet in February 2024. Purcell is dedicated to bridging the digital divide through sustainable connectivity plans, particularly for Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Small Island Developing States (SIDS), and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).
