Gerard Baker is the Editor at Large of The Wall Street Journal, a role he assumed in June 2018 after serving as the newspaper's Editor-in-Chief from March 2013. His extensive career in journalism began at the BBC, where he worked as a producer and economics correspondent from 1988 to 1994. Prior to this, he worked at the Bank of England and Lloyds Bank as a Latin America analyst.
