Biography

Gerard Maley is the Deputy Chief Minister of the Northern Territory Government and the elected Member for Nelson in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly. He was first elected on August 22, 2020, and re-elected on August 24, 2024. In his role as Deputy Chief Minister, he also serves as the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, Minister for Mining and Energy, Minister for Corrections, Minister for Renewables, and Minister for Recreational Fishing.
