Georgios A. Vlachos (1886–1951) was a Greek journalist and publisher, born in Athens. He studied law and began his career as a journalist at the newspaper Chronos. In 1915, during the Noemvriana events, he supported the Greek army units in not surrendering arms to the French admiral. He was a vocal critic of Venizelos during the National Schism, leading to his internal exile by the Venizelists in the summer of 1917.
In 1919, Vlachos founded the Kathimerini newspaper.
