George Sun is a Managing Director and leads Global Credit & Financing for Asia & Middle East at HSBC. He also serves as the Head of Markets & Securities Services for Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

His career includes significant leadership positions at various global financial institutions. Prior to HSBC, he held roles at BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered as Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions Sales - Asia Pacific, and Nomura as Managing Director, Co-Head of Fixed Income Sales - Asia.
