George Milling-Stanley retired as a Vice President and Chief Gold Strategist at State Street Investment Management's SPDR ETFs business on September 12, 2025. In this role, he provided strategic insights into the gold market.
Prior to joining State Street, Milling-Stanley was a Managing Director at the World Gold Council. There, he was a key member of the team that collaborated with State Street Global Advisors to pioneer and launch the world’s first gold-backed ETF.
