Biography

George Thomas Conway III is an American lawyer and activist. He gained prominence for arguing and winning the 2010 case *Morrison v. National Australia Bank* before the Supreme Court of the United States. Conway was considered for two positions in the United States Department of Justice—Solicitor General and Assistant Attorney General heading the Civil Division—during the Trump administration but ultimately withdrew himself from consideration.
