Biography

Genesis Davila is a Fulbright scholar and a lawyer specializing in International Law and Human Rights. She earned a law degree, summa cum laude, from Universidad de Los Andes, Venezuela, in 2014, and an LL.M. diploma in International Legal Studies from New York University, U.S., in 2022.

In 2017, she founded Defiende Venezuela, a pro-bono NGO dedicated to representing victims of human rights internationally, an idea that won her the Georgetown University Global Impact Award.
