George Danezis is a Professor of Security and Privacy Engineering in the Information Security Group of the Computer Science department at University College London. His research focuses on computer security, privacy, and specifically includes anonymous communications, traffic analysis, statistical inference, smart metering, and peer-to-peer security.

Beyond his academic work, Danezis is a co-founder and Chief Scientist at Mysten Labs, and a co-founder and Head of Research at Chainspace.
