Gary P. Hamel is an American management consultant and a visiting professor of strategic management at the London Business School, where he has taught for over three decades since 1983. He has also served as a visiting professor at the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School. Hamel is the founder of Strategos, an international management consulting firm based in Chicago, where he served as chairman until 2003.
